Hi everyone, this weekend I try to make some custard pudding, and it is quite successful so I will share the recipe that I learned from YouTube to you all. I hope will inspire you especially if you also stay at home the whole time because of the coronavirus. Well stay safe. So let start
For the caramel :
- 50gr white sugar
- 3 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp hot water
To make the caramel, prepare the pan, and set the fire into medium heat. Put the sugar and water into the pan.
Then you can add 2 tbsp of hot water in it, be careful because the sound quite surprising then turn off the heat and put the lid on for a while
Then you can pour the liquid into the mug or baking mould.
Put aside the caramel, then let’s make the custard
- 40gr sugar
- 220ml fresh milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tbsp vanilla extract
Put the eggs into a bowl then beat it (be careful not to make the egg bubbling) then put the sugar in
Mix well the sugar and eggs until the sugar dissolve. Then pour fresh milk into the mixture.
Don’t forget also to put the vanilla extract in it. Then mix again, and be careful do not make any bubble while whisking.
After that you can pour the egg mixture into the caramel using sieve.
Pre heat the oven 180°C for 10 minutes, then put the custard mould in baking tray that has water in it. And put into the oven, bake it for 45 – 60 minutes.
After 60 minutes, put out the custard from the oven, let it chill in room temperature for another 15 minutes, then put it in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
After chilling in refrigerator, you can enjoy your custard pudding.
This recipe is for 4 servings. If you want to make more you can double the ingredients. It is really delicious. Try this at home and enjoy your artwork 😊
